REGIONAL BUSINESS LINE MANAGER Location: Dovianus BV, Bergschenhoek/NL This position is responsible for the execution of the sales strategy for the Instrumentation & Sampling business. The Regional Business Line Manager will identify distinct competitive advantages to develop the best growth opportunities in revenue, market share and profitability. In addition, the Regional Business Line Manager will provide training and education to the sales teams and customers while assisting sales in targeting opportunities and winning orders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for Development and Implementation of short and long-term strategy for the respective assigned regions. This includes full analysis of competitive landscape, regional market economic, industry indicators, analysis and projection of regional market size, growth rates, current share position. · Provide front-end technical sales support, and assists Account Managers / Sales Engineers to provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support. · Develops materials for and conducts sales training which highlight product features/benefits and differentiated technical advantages. · Conducts customer symposiums to share data and promote our products. · Analyze market data to provide business performance reporting and define growth opportunities. · Develop technical analysis of products and applications (ours versus competitors). · Provides support to Global Business Line Manager to perform competitive benchmarking and set pricing. · Plays an active role in the new product development process by assisting business managers in identifying and researching new product ideas which support existing applications and improve our value proposition or technical advantage. · Conducts voice of the customer research to ensure successful launch of new products. · Execute the launch strategy for new product introductions and assists business managers through launch preparation. · Leads the initiative to certify the products to approved manufacturers list (AML) and specifications. · Perform other duties as assigned. YOUR PROFILE · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business or related discipline. MBA, preferred. · At least 4 years’ experience in a technical quotations or product support position. · Exceptional data and market analytical skills. · Exceptional customer and communication skills. · Ability to fluently communicate orally and in writing in English including technical and business understanding. · Rapid learning ability. · ‘Hands on’ approach – resilient and tenacious. · Assertive leadership style to influence a matrix organization. · Requires a minimum of 20-40% domestic (Europe) travel. · Computer fluency with MS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. · Commercial experience with industrial customers and or distribution, preferred. Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional strategies for the Instrumentation & Sampling business, analyzing markets and competitors to identify opportunities for revenue, market share, and profitability growth. Provide technical sales support and training, contribute to pricing and product development, gather customer feedback, and lead product launch and certification activities.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required; an MBA is preferred. Candidates need at least four years of experience in technical quotations or product support, strong analytical and communication skills, fluent written and spoken English, Microsoft Office proficiency, and willingness to travel 20–40% within Europe.
