Would you like to lead a technical team and make sure maintenance is properly planned and carried out? Join SSI SCHÄFER as a Maintenance Manager. You will work at PRIMARK®’s 30,000 m² distribution centre in Roosendaal, where automated logistics systems operate 24/7 and need to be maintained to a high standard. You keep an overview of the operation, manage the Team Leaders and make sure maintenance is carried out safely and according to plan. Interested? Read on. What will you do? You make sure all maintenance activities in the distribution centre are properly planned and carried out. You manage 5 Team Leaders and share your technical knowledge with them and the Maintenance Technicians. Every day, you discuss priorities, make adjustments where necessary and ensure smooth coordination between the different shifts. You create, monitor and adjust the maintenance schedule, working closely with PRIMARK®’s planners. You also monitor performance based on KPIs, such as the technical availability of the systems and the completion of preventive maintenance. Together with the team, you look for ways to organise maintenance more effectively. You initiate improvement projects focusing on planning, processes and collaboration. When improving maintenance concepts, you also work with other SSI SCHÄFER locations. Working safely is always the priority. What do you bring? you have a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking; you have experience working in a technical maintenance environment; you have experience creating and monitoring schedules, for example in a role as a Maintenance Planner or Work Planner; you know how to set priorities and maintain an overview when several things are happening at once; you have experience managing and coaching employees; you communicate clearly and make sure the right information reaches the right people; you work accurately and keep a close eye on the quality of maintenance; you are comfortable making decisions and adjusting plans when necessary; you have a good command of spoken and written English. What do we offer? As a Maintenance Manager, you will have a leadership role that combines technology, planning and team development. You make decisions independently, work closely with the Team Leaders and contribute directly to improvements in maintenance and collaboration between shifts. We offer: a permanent position; a gross monthly salary between €5,200 and €5,500, depending on your experience and education; 27 days of annual leave and 13 additional days off (ADV); a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, up to a maximum of 50 km each way; a pension scheme through PME and employment conditions in accordance with the Dutch Metalektro collective labour agreement; a position in which you have a direct influence on maintenance planning, collaboration and team performance. Core Responsibilities

Lead five Team Leaders and coordinate maintenance technicians to ensure maintenance activities are safely planned and completed across shifts. Monitor schedules and KPIs, coordinate with PRIMARK planners, and initiate improvements to maintenance processes, planning, and collaboration.

Requirements

Requires higher professional education-level working and thinking, experience in a technical maintenance environment, and experience creating and monitoring schedules. Candidates should have employee management and coaching experience, strong prioritization, communication, accuracy, decision-making, and spoken and written English skills.
