We believe in vintage instead of fast fashion. With us, you'll work across the entire secondhand clothing chain, from international sourcing and sorting to the shop floor. That combination is rarely this complete. About the role As Junior Finance Analyst, you'll work alongside the CFO and our small finance team to keep track of the numbers for our wholesale business (Gaia), our processing entity (Hemera) and our Episode stores across six countries. You'll be a key link between our entities, our external accountants and management, helping the business make decisions based on reliable numbers. You'll start broad and build the foundation for your next step to Financial Controller, with increasing ownership over specific countries or entities. What success looks like After three months, you know our entities and systems and independently handle recurring bookkeeping tasks After six months, you play a key role in the monthly close and deliver accurate, timely reports across six countries After a year, you've taken ownership of one or more countries or entities and implemented at least one improvement in our processes Responsibilities Maintain the financial administration across six countries Work closely with the CFO on reporting and financial planning Collaborate with external accountants across Europe on monthly, quarterly and year-end closings Prepare and analyse financial reports for management Identify and implement improvements in our financial processes and systems Over time, as Financial Controller: carry out ad hoc analyses to support management decisions Qualifications 0 to 3 years of work experience, with a Bachelor's or Master's level of thinking Strong written and spoken English, and able to make yourself understood in Dutch You enjoy working with numbers. A financial background is not strictly required Analytical, precise and a clear communicator Independent and proactive, and comfortable working with colleagues in different countries Nice to have: an affinity with retail or fashion, and experience with Excel and accounting software such as Odoo or SAP What we offer A salary of €2,800 to €3,300 gross per month based on 40 hours, pro rata for fewer hours A working week of 32 to 40 hours, by agreement Real responsibility from day one and a clear path to Financial Controller A small, informal finance team with direct access to management Based in Hem, North Holland, with room to work from home. Core Responsibilities
Maintain financial administration across six countries and work with the CFO and external accountants on reporting, planning, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Prepare and analyse management reports, improve financial processes and systems, and gradually take ownership of countries or entities.
Requirements
The role is suited to candidates with 0–3 years of experience and bachelor's- or master's-level thinking; a financial background is not essential. Candidates should be analytical, precise, proactive, independent, comfortable working across countries, and able to communicate in English and make themselves understood in Dutch.
