As a Quality Trainee at Minor Hotels Europe, you will be part of the team that safeguards and elevates quality standards across more than 250 hotels in Europe, covering multiple brands. This is a combination of a theoretical and practical internship. You will be actively involved in hotel operations, quality audits, data analysis, and improvement initiatives that directly impact guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the Quality team, General Managers, and hotel teams across Europe, gaining hands-on exposure to how quality, brand standards, and guest experience come together in an international hotel group. Your Role at a Glance As a Quality Trainee, you will support the European Quality team in monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing initiatives that strengthen service quality and consistency across our hotels. You will split your time between: Office (Hoofddorp) – collaboration, analysis, project work Hotel visits across Europe – quality assessments, follow-ups, support Remote work – reporting, preparation, documentation This traineeship offers a unique combination of analysis, travel, stakeholder interaction, and project ownership. What You Will Be Doing Visiting hotels to assess quality, either as a ‘known’ guest or a ‘mystery’ guest Preparing and following up on site visits, and reviewing outcomes Analysing guest feedback, surveys, and quality scores and translating insights into improvement actions Supporting the coordination of Quality follow-up visits and/ or calls with hotel management Supporting brand-specific quality projects, rollouts, pilots, and re-brandings Working with digital quality tools and platforms used across the organization Assisting with workshops, meetings, trainings and quality-related events What Makes You a Great Fit You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Hospitality, Facility Management, Business, Quality Management, or similar) at a Dutch educational institution You are available for a minimum of 6 months (the internship must be part of your study program) You are comfortable travelling to our hotels across the Netherlands and currently have a student travel card You are detail-oriented, analytical, and curious, with strong organizational and time management skills You are comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and managing your own workload You are confident communicating with various stakeholders, including hotel management You are fluent in English (Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian and/or German is a strong advantage) You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams You have previous internship experience in a hotel environment (a strong plus) Ready to Start Your Quality Journey? Core Responsibilities

Assess hotel quality through known-guest and mystery-guest visits, prepare and follow up on site assessments, and analyze guest feedback and quality scores to identify improvement actions. Support quality projects, brand rollouts, digital quality tools, and follow-up activities with hotel management and teams across Europe.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's program at a Dutch educational institution, and the internship must be part of their studies and last at least six months. Candidates should be fluent in English, comfortable traveling to hotels in the Netherlands, proficient in Microsoft Office, and detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and confident communicating with stakeholders; hotel internship experience and additional European languages are advantages.
