Job Description

A Snapshot of your day Siemens Energy's Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization division in the Netherlands requires a Student Worker to support Team 3 with operational and project-related activities. This role aims to provide practical work experience to local students while enabling engineers and project managers to focus on high-value project execution. To address these business aims, the role focuses on project administration support, operational coordination, and documentation management. These core areas ensure smooth project workflows and efficient team operations. Given the focus on operational support, the ideal candidate will be a current student in a relevant technical or business field, possessing strong organizational skills, basic technical literacy, and a proactive attitude. How you'll make a difference Assist project managers and engineers with daily administrative tasks, scheduling, and meeting preparation Track project milestones and update internal databases or project management tools Coordinate communication and follow-ups within the project team to ensure task alignment Maintain, organize, and archive project documentation, engineering drawings, and technical files Prepare standard reports, presentations, and spreadsheets to support team decision-making Ensure data accuracy in local systems and compliance with organizational documentation standards What you bring Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field No prior professional experience required; previous internship or administrative experience is considered an asset Available to work part-time (approximately 16 hours per week / 40% workload) in the Netherlands for a duration of 12 months Project coordination, task prioritization and Information management Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with project management tools Data entry and database maintenance Interpersonal communication Teamwork and collaboration Fluency in written and spoken English Who is Siemens Energy?
