Job Description As a Laboratory Automation Specialist, you will support laboratory equipment lifecycle management and automation systems within an R&D environment. You will work with laboratory software and analytical systems, supporting equipment introduction, documentation, data integrity, system processes, and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities Support the introduction, lifecycle management, maintenance, and decommissioning of laboratory equipment. Provide automation and technical support for laboratory software applications, including Waters Empower and other analytical systems. Support laboratory systems, data acquisition, processing, and documentation in line with quality and data integrity requirements. Translate user requirements into technical specifications and support system improvements and implementation. Collaborate with laboratory, IT, quality, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions. Support new projects and day-to-day laboratory operations by identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and automation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Experience or strong affinity with laboratory automation, analytical systems, laboratory software, or data management. Experience with Waters Empower is strongly preferred; knowledge of Chromeleon, UNIFI, LIMS, or similar systems is an advantage. Knowledge of GMP/GxP environments and laboratory data integrity principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; good English is required, while Dutch is an advantage. Other Information Apply to our vacancy for more information. Core Responsibilities

Maintain compliant system processes and documentation, translate user needs into technical specifications, resolve issues with stakeholders, and identify improvements to laboratory systems and operations.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related field is required, along with experience or a strong affinity for laboratory automation, analytical systems, laboratory software, or data management. Waters Empower experience is strongly preferred; knowledge of other laboratory platforms and GMP/GxP and data integrity principles is advantageous, as are strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
