The Business Support Planning and Control team is looking for an experienced Operation Planner (Wave Planner) that has affinity with leading continuous improvement. We are looking for someone that combines excellent operational skills with great new insights on wave planning and the ability to drive improvements. Role and responsibilities Deliver load level-, wave planning- & planning support to optimize the efficiency in the logistical process by monitoring and balancing the workload within the warehouse & logistics department. As a Wave planner, you play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our highly complex logistics and warehouse processes, directly impacting our ability to meet production demands efficiently and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Operational activities Monitor the influx of outbound deliveries for the 5L Warehouse, where logistics processes are centralized to facilitate an efficient supply to manufacturing. Identify and analyze workload peaks. Ad-hoc steering on workload peaks- advising on warehouse capacity re-scheduling Adjust the timing of deliveries in such a way that the workload is leveled on an hourly base Adjust delivery timing based on priority Monitor if deliveries are created according to the ‘delivery creation rules’ Contact the internal customer (Production Planning, Cleanroom Logistics, Material Handling) and/or the 3PL in case alignment is needed for load leveling. Monitor and steer the ‘stock to factory’ process by managing the EWM Waves Process delivery- and/or delivery line cancellation requests and prio changes Monitor and follow-up on exception codes and alerts generated by EWM Provides first line operational support on planning processes, executing resolution of operational issues, in order to minimize impact on the operation. You are steering daily/weekly meetings to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders. Weekly report performance and volume measurements and communicate with stake holders The wave planner reports to the Planning and Control Team Lead within LO Business Support and works closely with other Business Support departments, Warehouse, Production Planning, 3PL, Manufacturing Services Engineering Continuous Improvement activities Identify improvement opportunities in the value chain Analyzing trends, define and improve planning related processes Participate and/or drive continuous improvement projects Interact with stakeholders Education and experience Relevant Bachelor or Master degree (e.g. Operations Management & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management). 3-5 years of experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Management Hands-on experience in a technical production/warehouse environment. You always have 1 fixed day off per week. Once per 4 weeks you work a weekend shift 07:00-16:00. Core Responsibilities

Plan and balance warehouse workloads by monitoring outbound deliveries, managing EWM waves, adjusting delivery timing and priorities, and resolving operational exceptions. Coordinate with production, warehouse, logistics, and 3PL stakeholders, report performance, and identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and 3–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience are requested, along with hands-on experience in a technical production or warehouse environment. Candidates should have SAP knowledge, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, troubleshooting ability, and the communication and initiative to drive process improvements.
