Introduction The Quality Engineering & Excellence team within the Reuse & Repair sector supports a large engineering organization in Veldhoven. The team enables consistent quality, performance, and continuous improvement across reuse and repair activities. A KPI framework is currently being established, and the next step is to successfully implement and embed it across the organization. In this internship, you will help drive KPI adoption and support data-driven decision-making within a department of about 100 people. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Your assignment You will contribute to the successful implementation and adoption of a KPI framework across the Reuse & Repair organization. Rather than designing the framework itself, your focus will be on embedding it into daily operations, aligning stakeholders, and supporting teams in using KPI insights effectively. You will work across multiple engineering teams and help ensure KPIs are understood, accepted, and used to drive performance improvements. Your main responsibilities will be: Support the implementation and adoption of a KPI framework for quality and reuse or repair activities Align with stakeholders on KPI definitions, objectives, and ways of working Support KPI deployment across department, team, and process levels Assess data sources and validate data quality, availability, and consistency Analyze performance data and trends to support continuous improvement Support KPI reporting and review processes Facilitate stakeholder alignment and document KPI governance This is a master's internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 3 days per week (hybrid). The start date of this internship is as of January 2027. Your profile To be suitable for the internship, you: Are enrolled in a master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field Have relevant experience from internships or previous jobs, preferably in process improvement, performance management, or working with multiple stakeholders Have strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills Are a strong communicator who can build alignment across different teams and stakeholders Have experience working with data using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools Other requirements you need to meet: You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship; If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement); You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular; You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a master's program in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field for the internship's full duration, and be at least 18 at its start. They should have relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools; they must also meet the Netherlands location and applicable internship-document requirements.
