Are you a recent graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field? Are you looking for your first opportunity to develop your career in warehouse operations, inventory management and process improvement. We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our warehouse team in Newrest Amsterdam. (Schiphol Area) What will you do? Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and the warehouse team, you will contribute to the efficiency and continuous improvement of our operations. Your Main Responsibilities Will Include Optimizing existing order processing and preparation processes Analyzing and optimizing inventory levels Monitoring and controlling inbound and outbound stock processes Participating in inventory counts and stock accuracy activities Coordinating daily activities with forklift operators and warehouse staff Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Indentifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency Is Newrest looking for you? Core Responsibilities
Optimize order processing, preparation, and inventory levels, while monitoring inbound and outbound stock and supporting inventory counts and stock accuracy. Coordinate daily warehouse activities with staff and forklift operators, work closely with the Warehouse Manager, and identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
The role is aimed at a recent graduate in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, with an analytical mindset and an interest in process optimization and inventory management. Candidates should be proactive, hands-on, eager to learn, and fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage, and prior years of experience are not required.
