As our Peptide Division continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of customer projects from planning through to successful delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong scientific background who enjoys working across teams, managing multiple priorities and being the link between customers and technical teams. The role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to make sure project scope, milestones, deliverables and expectations are clearly understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle. You will also play an important role in supporting our GMP activities and contributing to the continued development of our project management processes. What you’ll be doing Manage and deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards Lead project teams and coordinate project scope, milestones and deliverables Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and clear, well-written reports Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential project risks and put effective mitigation plans in place Ensure projects comply with GMP and relevant global regulatory requirements within the life science industry Prepare the documentation required for GMP and project management activities Support customer acquisition by joining customer calls as a technical specialist and contributing to proposal and quotation preparation Lead project close-out meetings, reviewing technical and financial performance against agreed work packages and capturing lessons learned Support the development and improvement of GMP and project management processes Contribute to the development of new methodologies and processes Work in accordance with Biosynth’s quality systems and procedures, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and GMP-API requirements What we’re looking for We’re looking for a scientifically minded Project Manager who can combine technical knowledge with strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills. You will have: An MSc in Chemistry or a closely relevant scientific discipline is essential - A PhD in Chemistry or Biological Sciences would be advantageous. Previous, relevant professional experience Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of peptide chemistry, including peptide synthesis and the challenges involved in peptide development and manufacturing. Thorough knowledge of GMP Experience working with quality management systems Excellent written and spoken English Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally SAP A structured and independent approach to your work Excellent interpersonal and communication skills The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of your projects Why join Biosynth? Core Responsibilities

Manage customer projects from planning through close-out, coordinating teams, scope, milestones, budgets, deliverables, quality, risks, and customer communications. Ensure GMP and regulatory compliance, prepare project documentation, support proposals and quotations, and contribute to improving project management and GMP processes.

Requirements

An MSc in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline is essential; a PhD in Chemistry or Biological Sciences is advantageous. Candidates should have relevant professional experience, strong theoretical and practical knowledge of peptide chemistry and GMP, experience with quality management systems, excellent English communication skills, good IT skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
