RESTAURANT MANAGER – LOCALS AMSTERDAM LOCALS is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take full ownership of one of our Amsterdam locations. LOCALS is a busy all-day brunch and specialty coffee concept in Amsterdam. We are not looking for a manager who simply makes the schedule and opens and closes the restaurant. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the floor and makes sure both the team and the operation perform at a high level every day. What will you be responsible for? As Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of your location, working closely with our Operations Manager and management team. Your responsibilities include: • Leading, coaching and motivating the FOH and kitchen teams • Delivering excellent service and a strong guest experience • Maintaining high standards of quality, speed and presentation • Staff scheduling and efficient deployment of the team • Training and developing employees • Monitoring labour costs and operational KPIs • Stock, ordering and day-to-day operational matters • Hygiene, HACCP and compliance with company procedures • Identifying and solving operational issues proactively • Being hands-on and present on the floor during busy services Who are we looking for? You have proven management experience within restaurants, hospitality or a similar high-volume environment. You are a natural leader: clear, positive and consistent. You notice what needs to be done and take action without waiting to be told. Core Responsibilities

Lead and develop the front-of-house and kitchen teams while ensuring excellent guest service and high standards of quality, speed, and presentation. Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, labour costs, KPIs, stock, ordering, hygiene compliance, and proactive resolution of operational issues.

Requirements

Applicants need at least two years of relevant management experience in hospitality, restaurants, or a similar high-volume environment, along with strong people-management skills and a hands-on leadership style. They should be commercially minded, detail-oriented, flexible to work weekends, fluent or professionally proficient in English, and based in or near Amsterdam; Dutch is a plus.
