Job Description
Are you an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Advisor looking for a broad, hands-on HR role? Modulaire are currently looking for an HR Specialist Netherlands to provide operational HR support and advice to employees and managers across the business. The role You’ll take ownership of a varied HR remit, including: Providing day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees Managing sickness absence and return-to-work cases, including Wet verbetering poortwachter Managing HR administration, contracts, onboarding and offboarding Advising on Dutch employment law and relevant CAOs Overseeing payroll activities with external provider ADP Producing HR reports and analysing headcount, absence, turnover and HR KPIs Maintaining accurate HR systems and employee data Supporting recruitment and working with external recruitment partners Identifying and implementing HR process improvements. About you To be successful in this role you will ideally have: 5+ years' HR experience in an operational/advisory role Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law Experience of sickness absence management and Wet verbetering poortwachter HR systems and payroll experience, ideally ADP Strong Excel and HR reporting skills Fluent Dutch and English A proactive, organised and service-focused approach.
Core Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR advice and operational support to employees and managers, including absence and return-to-work case management, HR administration, contracts, onboarding, and offboarding. Coordinate payroll with ADP, produce and analyze HR reports, support recruitment, maintain employee data, and improve HR processes.
Requirements
The role ideally requires at least five years of operational or advisory HR experience, strong knowledge of Dutch employment law, and experience managing sickness absence and the Wet Improvement of Gatekeeper Act. Candidates should also have HR systems and payroll experience, preferably with ADP, strong Excel and reporting skills, fluency in Dutch and English, and a proactive, organized, service-focused approach.
