Axiomer could potentially yield a new class of innovative medicines and treat currently untreatable diseases. The role: As Associate Research Technician you will be responsible for the execution of experiments to support our ongoing research projects. You will work closely together with other (Sr.) Research Technicians and Scientists. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in one or more of the following: RNA analysis techniques, e.g RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, (digital) PCR and library preparation/NGS Laboratory automation equipment We expect our associate research technician: To have an MLO degree level 4 with 0-2 years working experience (preferably in industry) To be solution and result driven To work with focus in a dedicated team To execute experiments To report these experiments in a lab journal To take care of laboratory organization and related administrative tasks Competencies That Are Required For Making The Difference Accurate Proactive and flexible attitude Hands-on mentality Team player Autonomous and coachable Accountable Good knowledge of spoken and written English Ability to work under pressure Experience in bio-tech industry is a pre Creative thinker A nice person :-) ProQR as an employer As an employer, we value a diverse workforce in which people are encouraged to develop themselves both personally and professionally. Core Responsibilities

Execute experiments supporting ongoing research projects, working closely with research technicians and scientists. Document experiments in a lab journal and maintain laboratory organization while completing related administrative tasks.

Requirements

Candidates should have an MLO level 4 qualification and 0–2 years of work experience; biotechnology industry experience is preferred. Hands-on experience in one or more of RNA analysis techniques or laboratory automation is sought, along with accuracy, a proactive and flexible attitude, teamwork, accountability, and good spoken and written English.
