What You'll Do This is an open-topic assignment within Data Protection, where you as graduate-intern can work on the hottest topics within Data Protection and Data Compliance. Are you all into Data Loss Prevention capabilities, or will you work on data governance, compliance and dispositioning? The choice is yours! This internal Avanade internship will focus on building and demonstrating a business case on how organizations can benefit from implementing proper Data Security and Data Compliance solutions. You’ll need to address risks covering need to know confidentiality, audit data integrity, and monitor data availability within the context of Data Protection & Compliance. Qualifications Skills and experiences: You are a 4th year HBO student or WO master's student and available for a graduation internship from 1 of February 2027 You Are Interested In Data Classification; CASB; DLP; Compliance; Retention management; Insider Risk Management; Data Security Posture Management; Copilot & AI About You You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English You are motivated to set up a high-quality graduation research project You have analytical thinking skills and a critical eye You have the drive to develop innovative solutions for complex issues You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams You show initiative and take responsibility for defining your research scope

Core Responsibilities

Develop a business case demonstrating how organizations can benefit from implementing data security and data compliance solutions. Research data protection and compliance topics, addressing confidentiality, audit data integrity, and data availability risks.

Requirements

Applicants must be fourth-year HBO students or WO master's students available to begin a graduation internship on February 1, 2027. They should communicate fluently in Dutch and English, have analytical and critical thinking skills, and be motivated to conduct high-quality research, develop innovative solutions, work in multidisciplinary teams, and define their research scope independently.
