Our Team Our Venlo Engineering & IT team powers the core manufacturing engine behind VistaPrint's global footprint. We bridge technology and physical operations, designing, maintaining, and optimizing the systems that convert millions of digital customer designs into high-quality physical products every day. Working closely with Operations and Supply Chain, we foster an agile, innovative environment focused on operational excellence, system reliability, and continuous improvement. What You Will Do Collaborate on Cross-Functional Projects: Represent the IT function in new product and workflow introduction projects, ensuring standard IT procedures and documentation are seamlessly integrated. Optimize Production Workflows: Configure and tune system settings within ERP and supporting platforms (Viper, Webshell, AWS, networking, storage) to enable smooth order flows across operations and supply chain. Investigate & Resolve Technical Incidents: Conduct thorough root cause analysis on operational IT incidents, implementing structural solutions and escalating complex issues to Senior Engineers or Management when appropriate. Maintain & Support Datacenter Infrastructure: Perform routine maintenance and monitoring for onsite IT facilities, including datacenter hardware, server environments, screen displays, and network storage (SAN/NAS). Support Pre-Press & Printing Technologies: Assist with digital file conversions, file transfers, ganging, and scheduling automation to ensure timely and accurate print production. Provide Local & On-Call IT Support: Deliver tier-2 office and operational IT support to plant personnel and participate in a scheduled 24/7 on-call support rotation for manufacturing continuity. Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline IT setups, automate routine operational tasks using scripting, and document standardized processes. You might be a strong candidate for this or other roles. 1+ years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or junior infrastructure administration, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment (or equivalent practical experience). Practical proficiency in network protocols, server administration, cloud concepts (AWS), and hardware/storage maintenance. Working knowledge of pre-press processes, digital print technologies, or ERP workflow integrations. Demonstrated problem-solving ability using root cause analysis to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written) with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Nice to Have Foundational understanding of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for operational automation. Basic familiarity with wireless network architecture, security controls, and enterprise monitoring tools. Experience working in an agile environment or collaborating with cross-time-zone global teams. Core Responsibilities

Configure and support ERP and related production systems, investigate operational incidents, maintain onsite datacenter and network infrastructure, and assist with pre-press and printing workflows. Provide tier-2 support to plant personnel, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and improve operations through automation and standardized documentation.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least one year of IT support, systems engineering, or infrastructure administration experience, or equivalent practical experience, along with knowledge of networking, server administration, AWS, and hardware or storage maintenance. A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is requested, as are problem-solving and communication skills; scripting, wireless networking, security, monitoring, and manufacturing or print experience are advantageous.
