Process Technologist
We are looking for Process Technologist to join our Operations Team in our Adhesives Business Unit based in Netherlands.
How you make the difference
The Process Technologist is the site subject-matter expert for manufacturing processes, process capability and scale-up. The role combines hands-on production support with structured process improvement and technical project execution.
How your agenda looks like:
- Maintain and expand relationships with customers
- Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Lead the transfer of new products and formulations from R&D to Production
- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
- Support capital investment projects and participate in factory improvement projects
- Improvements of production performance

Your team:
You will report to the SHEQ Manager and work closely together with the Operations, R&D and Engineering Team in Goes.
What makes you a great fit:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry or a comparable discipline; master's degree is an advantage
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in process technology, process engineering or manufacturing engineering within the chemical, adhesive, coatings, formulation-based or comparable process industry
- Technical skills: Mixing, rheology/viscosity, pumping, dosing, scale-up, process validation and production equipment.
- Project skills, Digital skills, Analytical and Stakeholdermanagement
- Local language: Y, preferable Dutch and English

Core Responsibilities
The Process Technologist serves as the site subject-matter expert for manufacturing processes, focusing on process capability, scale-up, and production support. They are responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, leading product transfers from R&D to production, and managing technical projects.
Requirements
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemistry. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the chemical or formulation-based process industry is required.
