As part of our strategic plan, we are accelerating how we proactively support our customers through high-impact, targeted service projects. Right now, great service solutions are often delivered one site at a time—even though many other customers with similar system configurations could benefit from the exact same solution. We want to change that game, unlock untapped revenue, and deliver proactive value across our entire global installed base.

 

In this graduation project, you will design and build an intelligent, automated tool that connects installed base data and previously successful service projects to generate instant sales leads and ready-to-use quotes. By automatically linking system specifications with pricing and solution logic, you will directly cut sales lead times and revolutionize our proactive service delivery. You will also pitch and demonstrate your completed solution to key stakeholders, showing first-hand how your tool makes a real commercial impact!

Department description

You will join the Service Distribution North EMEA department, which focuses on service projects and service orders for parcel customers across the Benelux and Nordics. You will collaborate closely with team members involved in selling and executing service activities.

The goal is to develop a tool for the local region that can later be scaled across other global regions and customer bases. You will work alongside another student who will be completing a complementary assignment during the same period.

Tasks/responsibilities

• Analyze existing software tools, data structures, and installed base records

• Develop a tool to identify and visualize commercial sales opportunities

• Build functionality to automatically generate customer quotes with pricing details

• Collaborate with international teams to gather requirements and validate tool functionality

• Present and demonstrate the completed solution to project stakeholders

 Your profile

• Strong analytical capabilities with an interest in data-driven process improvement

• Practical programming skills and experience with software development

• Social skills and enthusiasm for working within a team

• Ability to work independently and take initiative on project goals

 

• *Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System & resident of The Netherlands

• A monthly internship allowance (based on a 40-hour work week):
  Bachelor: €500 per month
  Master: €550 per month
• Full commuting allowance, including public transport, depending on whether you have access to free public transport or not
