The Hotel

Hotel Luxer is a warm and welcoming city hotel located right in the historic centre of Amsterdam. With 47 rooms and a friendly team, we focus on offering our guests a clean, comfortable and relaxed stay. Our central location near Central Station and Dam Square makes working with us dynamic and enjoyable. As part of our housekeeping team, you help us maintain the quality and atmosphere that our guests appreciate.

Your Day

As a housekeeper, you work around 32 hours per week and are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas. You make sure rooms are perfectly prepared for arriving guests and kept to our quality standards. You work closely with your colleagues and report to the hotel manager.

You are...

Cleaning and refreshing hotel rooms, including making beds, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
Ensuring rooms are guest-ready and meet the hotel’s quality standards.
Replenishing amenities such as towels and toiletries.
Reporting maintenance issues or damages.
Supporting the team with the daily cleaning schedule and turnover of rooms.
Following hygiene and safety guidelines.

What We Ask
Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage, but motivated starters are welcome.
Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch.
A reliable, detail-oriented, guest-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work different days, including weekends.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and light lifting.
Living in or able to commute to central Amsterdam.
