Level definition

Key responsibilities

• Leads and manages LCO Team (Core Team and Line Teams) to jointly improve line performance (using LEAN tools, APS, SPC, OEE), and is accountable for Continuous Improvements in LCO area
• Leads, coaches and develops employees and team based on Good Leadership and Good Values according to annual people processes and daily leadership task.
• Ensures a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment, and safety mindset.
• Ensures quality and food safety within in own area of responsibility, and quality and food safety mindset.
• Responsible for KPI development including safety, quality, delivery, productivity & sustainability.
• Responsible for optimization and resource planning on cooperation with internal stakeholders, follow up and reporting.
• Ensures an efficient and stable operations process anchored in KPI fulfilment based on team performance.
• Is role model for digital transformation, works with data driven decision making and promotes a digital mindset within the team.
• Implements and executes the local business plan within area of responsibility.
• Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods' standards and policies as well as the applicable law.
• Is role model and lead sustainability within specific area, inspiring and guiding their teams to embrace sustainable practices.
• Cooperates and coordinates with e.g. Maintenance & Engineering to proactively optimise performance of Operations.
• Responsible for process confirmation to support the APS transformation.
• Administrates practical necessities such as safety equipment, scheduling, recruitment and salaries.
• Leads the work of having a diverse, flexible workforce to secure optimal shift planning and coverage of absence.
• Administrates health & safety talks and coaches culture conversations.

Educational background

• Some years of professional experience (e.g. 3-5 years for University graduates and 10+ years for profiles with vocational or technical education ) before entering the leadership career stream
• Dairy Technician, Dairy Technologist or similar
• Minimum 2 years of production experience.
