Home/Careers/Cloud Architect (AWS) Cloud & DevOps Cloud Architect (AWS) Remote EST/CET overlap Full-time $120,000 – $160,000 / yr Apply now Email your application About The Role What you’ll be doing As a Cloud Architect on our Cloud & DevOps team, you'll design and lead cloud migration, modernization, and cost-optimization engagements for enterprise clients — delivering zero-downtime migrations, resilient multi-account architectures, and measurable improvements in performance and reliability. Day to day Responsibilities Design target-state cloud architectures for migrations, modernizations, and greenfield builds Lead zero-downtime migration strategy and execution for enterprise workloads Define infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform across client engagements Own FinOps recommendations to optimize client cloud spend without sacrificing reliability Design Kubernetes platform architecture and multi-cloud/hybrid strategies where required Act as the technical escalation point for 24/7 SRE support engagements Present architecture decisions and roadmaps directly to client engineering leadership What we’re looking for Requirements 7+ years in cloud infrastructure/architecture roles, with deep AWS expertise AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification (or equivalent demonstrated expertise) Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration at scale Proven track record leading production migrations with zero/near-zero downtime Familiarity with GCP and/or Azure for multi-cloud engagements Strong grasp of security best practices, IAM design, and compliance frameworks Excellent client-facing communication and technical presentation skills Why Valoris Fusion Benefits & perks Remote-first Work from anywhere. Core Responsibilities

Design and lead enterprise cloud migrations, modernization, and greenfield architecture engagements, including zero-downtime migrations and resilient AWS environments. Establish Terraform and Kubernetes architecture standards, optimize cloud spending, support SRE escalations, and present technical roadmaps to client leadership.

Requirements

Requires 7+ years of cloud infrastructure or architecture experience, deep AWS expertise, and AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or equivalent expertise. Candidates should have hands-on Terraform and Kubernetes experience, a record of leading production migrations, familiarity with GCP or Azure, strong security and compliance knowledge, and excellent client-facing communication skills.
