There is a good chance that one of our products is already in your home! What will you do as Procurement & SRM Data Management intern? As a Procurement & SRM Data Management Intern, you will support the Procurement team with the launch and ongoing data management of our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tool. The SRM tool is a central platform containing supplier information and documentation. You will help ensure that supplier data is complete, accurate, well structured and ready to support effective supplier management. You will be involved in, for example: Reviewing supplier records already uploaded in the SRM tool; Checking the accuracy of supplier information and correcting it where needed; Identifying missing supplier data and supporting its collection from internal stakeholders; Contacting suppliers to collect relevant information and documentation; Uploading and organising supplier-related documents in the system; Maintaining data-quality standards and following up on open data points; Supporting basic reporting on data completeness, progress and supplier information; Assisting the Procurement team with administrative activities related to supplier management; By doing this, you will play an important role in creating a reliable and well-organised supplier-data foundation, helping the Procurement team work efficiently and enabling a smooth SRM launch. What will you learn? Who are we looking for? You are a proactive and detail-oriented intern who enjoys working in a structured, international and dynamic environment. You recognise yourself in: Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working; Comfort working with databases, digital platforms and Excel; An analytical mindset and the ability to review data critically; The ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information and duplicate records; Good organisational and time-management skills; The ability to work independently while collaborating with Procurement, other internal stakeholders and suppliers; Good written and spoken English; An interest in purchasing, supplier management, supply chain or business operations; A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and confidence to ask questions when information is unclear. This role would suit a student who is currently studying, or has recently graduated, in one of the following areas: Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management; Business Administration, International Business or Economics. Experience with Excel, ERP, CRM, SRM or other database-driven business systems would be beneficial, but is not essential. The most important qualities are an interest in data quality, a proactive attitude, analytical ability and motivation to learn about procurement and supplier management. Practical details Hours per week: 32 hours. Duration: Approximately mid-/end October until the end of December 2026.A Location: IBG Netherlands – Amstgerdam Sloterdijk (3 minutes walking form the station) The exact end product of your internship will be defined together with you. It may include, for example, a supplier-data quality overview, a data-completeness report, a structured supplier-documentation overview or practical recommendations to support the further rollout and use of the SRM tool.
Core Responsibilities
Review, validate, and maintain supplier records in the SRM platform, identify missing or inconsistent information, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to collect data and documentation. Organize supplier documents, monitor data quality, support basic reporting, and assist the Procurement team with supplier-management administration and the SRM tool rollout.
Requirements
The role seeks a proactive, detail-oriented student or recent graduate with an analytical and structured approach, confidence using databases, digital platforms, and Excel, and an interest in procurement, supplier management, supply chain, or business operations. Strong organization, time management, independent working, collaboration, and good written and spoken English are expected; experience with ERP, CRM, SRM, or similar systems is beneficial but not essential.
