Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Account Management Actively solicits new business for the hotel (European market - corporate, mice, entertainment, Global - government) Provides market intelligence and feedback to Director of Sales as result of face to face calls and telephone solicitation. Implements pro-active Sales action plans related te the area as outlined in the business plan. Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key clients from specific segments to drive business and increase fare market share Hosts familiarizations stays, conduct site inspections and gives sales presentations to showcase the hotel’s services and products. Travel Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new business. Reporting Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, guest feedback and the sales performance to identify opportunities for business growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree / higher education in hospitality or a related field Experience in luxury hospitality/ hotel sales preferred Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be a social butterfly and natural networker - actively engage with the local community, partners, colleagues and clients. Strong presentation skills. Core Responsibilities
Prospect for new business across corporate, MICE, entertainment, and government segments, while managing key client relationships and executing sales action plans. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, guest feedback, and sales performance, and represent the hotel at industry events and client presentations.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or higher education in hospitality or a related field is requested, and experience in luxury hospitality or hotel sales is preferred. Candidates should be fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication and presentation skills and a proactive, sociable approach to networking.
