We are looking for an EH&S professional to take responsibility for Environmental, Health & Safety topics across our Benelux organization. This role is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid background in HSE / EH&S / occupational safety and wants to take the next step into a broader role. You do not necessarily need to have many years of management experience – what matters most to us is your professional knowledge, your confidence in dealing with people and your ability to drive safety topics independently. You will work closely with our local teams and management and act as a key contact for EH&S topics across the Benelux region. Your responsibilities include: Managing and further developing EH&S activities across the Benelux region Ensuring compliance with applicable Dutch and Belgian EH&S legislation and regulations Supporting and advising managers and employees on health & safety matters Conducting risk assessments and supporting the implementation of appropriate measures Investigating incidents and driving preventive actions Supporting audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives Developing and maintaining EH&S processes, standards and documentation Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners Raising awareness and promoting a strong safety culture What we are looking for: Professional experience in EH&S, HSE, occupational safety or a comparable field A relevant qualification in safety / occupational health and safety (e.g. MVK, HVK, IVK or comparable) is highly valued Good knowledge of Dutch EH&S legislation and regulations Experience in an industrial, technical or production environment is an advantage Confident communication skills and the ability to work with different stakeholders A hands-on and pragmatic approach Ability to work independently and take ownership Fluent Dutch and English are essential since you collaborate with local colleagues as well as the European EH&S management on a daily basis Willingness to develop further into a broader EH&S leadership role What we offer: You will have the opportunity to shape EH&S for our Benelux organization and work in a role with a high degree of autonomy and visibility. Core Responsibilities

Manage and develop EH&S activities across the Benelux region, ensuring compliance with Dutch and Belgian regulations and advising managers and employees. Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, support audits and improvement initiatives, maintain EH&S processes and documentation, and promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

Candidates should have professional experience in EH&S, HSE, occupational safety, or a comparable field, along with a relevant safety qualification such as MVK, HVK, IVK, or equivalent. Good knowledge of Dutch EH&S regulations, confident stakeholder communication, a pragmatic and independent approach, and fluency in Dutch and English are essential; industrial or production experience is an advantage.
