Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support to end users and ensure the smooth operation of desktop, laptop, network, and IT infrastructure services. Key Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 onsite desktop and technical support to end users. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, applications, and peripherals. Install, configure, image, reimage, and deploy computers and IT equipment. Support Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, Intune, and other enterprise applications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, VPN, LAN/Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues. Manage user accounts, password resets, access permissions, and basic Active Directory tasks. Perform device onboarding, software installation, patching, and system upgrades. Provide support for printers, scanners, mobile devices, meeting-room equipment, and AV/VC systems. Log, update, and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow or another ITSM tool. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate L2/L3 teams when required. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, assets, and site activities. Assist with hardware refreshes, migrations, rollouts, and other IT projects. Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and support procedures. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience in Desktop Support / EUC / Deskside Support. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory. Knowledge of SCCM/MECM, Intune, or Autopilot is an advantage. Good understanding of LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking. Experience supporting printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and conference-room equipment. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
Core Responsibilities
Provide onsite L1/L2 support for end users, troubleshooting and resolving desktop, laptop, application, hardware, network, and connectivity issues. Deploy and maintain devices and software, manage user accounts and service requests, document work, escalate complex issues, and support IT projects while following company policies and security standards.
Requirements
Requires at least three years of experience in desktop, EUC, or deskside support, with strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory. Candidates should understand basic networking and have experience with ITSM tools, peripherals, mobile devices, and conference-room equipment; SCCM/MECM, Intune, or Autopilot knowledge is an advantage.
