Role Overview As a Junior Money Market Sales Trader, you will play a key role in supporting SFI Markets' ambition to become the leading money market broker in Europe. Working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, you will help institutional clients across the BeNeLux optimize their short-term funding and investment strategies through products such as deposits, commercial paper, repos, and private placements. You will work closely with experienced brokers and market participants, building long-term client relationships while developing a deep understanding of money markets, liquidity management, and financial products. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with institutional clients across the BeNeLux region. Sales & Trade Execution: Support the origination and execution of transactions across a range of Money Market instruments, including deposits, commercial paper, repos, and private placements. Market Coverage: Stay informed about financial market developments, interest rate movements, and client cash management needs. Business Development: Identify new commercial opportunities, support client acquisition efforts, and contribute to revenue growth. Client Service: Deliver high-quality service and market insights to help clients achieve their funding and investment objectives. Market Presence: Represent SFI Markets at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities. Experience: Previous commercial, sales, or client-facing experience is beneficial but not required. Requirements
The role calls for an entrepreneurial, proactive candidate with a strong interest in financial markets and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Previous commercial, sales, or client-facing experience is beneficial but not required; fluency in English and Dutch and being based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam are essential.
