About the Internship Are you a proactive, dynamic and driven student, ready to take the first step in your real estate career? We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Portfolio Strategy Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. You’ll be part of a young and dynamic team, working alongside colleagues from all over the world. You’ll report to the Portfolio Strategy Manager and will be part of the team that creates Mileway’s quarterly investor reporting and related strategic insights for C-Suite and the Leadership team. You’ll be based at our Amsterdam office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week. What you’ll do Support the preparation of Mileway’s quarterly investor reporting Assist with the maintenance of underlying Excel analyses to support periodic performance monitoring Help prepare analysis to enrich quarterly materials and support in-person presentations by senior executives Help compile portfolio performance data and business updates from Mileway colleagues across multiple departments and offices Support in the analysis of macroeconomic, peer and real estate market data to generate actionable strategic insights for Mileway’s leadership team Support in ad-hoc and ongoing projects What You’ll Bring Education: Current enrolee in a degree program in Real Estate, Business, Economics or a related field Attention to Detail: A drive to deliver accurate and high-quality work Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn and proactively take on new challenges Tech Skills: Confidence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and large datasets Organization: An ability to work on multiple projects at the same time without missing deadlines Collaboration: A great team attitude – you are friendly, dynamic and interested in coordinating with multiple stakeholders Language: Outstanding command of English, written and verbal. Additional language skills are a plus Internship at a Glance Start Date: As soon as possible Duration: 6 months, ideally Compensation: this is a paid internship Working Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 3 days a week in-office Good to Know Before You Apply Just a few important things to keep in mind before you apply: Unfortunately, we can’t provide visa sponsorship. You’ll need to have citizenship of the country where the role is based or EU citizenship. This internship can’t be used as part of a thesis, and Mileway information can’t be used for academic work, even if the company name isn’t mentioned. Core Responsibilities

Support quarterly investor reporting by maintaining Excel analyses, compiling portfolio performance data, and preparing analysis and materials for senior executives. Analyze macroeconomic, peer, and real estate market data to develop strategic insights for leadership, and contribute to ongoing and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field, and remain enrolled throughout the six-month internship. They should have strong English skills, confidence using Microsoft Office—particularly Excel and large datasets—and demonstrate accuracy, organization, collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
