Our Ideal Candidate Meets The Following Requirements You have a teaching qualification recognised by DUO. You have a master's degree in History, Global Politics or a related field. You have experience in teaching History and/or TOK at a secondary school level. You have experience teaching IB MYP courses. You have a multidisciplinary interest and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your lessons. You live in the Netherlands and have a valid work visa or an EU/Dutch passport. You will join the I&S Department and teach students from different year groups in the International Baccalaureate Programme. You are responsible, with your colleagues, for designing the curriculum. The team is experienced and well established and you will receive guidance and support. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to contribute to school life, whether as a mentor or by supporting initiatives like the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, MUN, and various student clubs. We also provide free staff parking directly on the school grounds. Salary will depend on your background and experience, in accordance with the Dutch CAO-VO. This includes benefits like a year-end bonus and a travel allowance. We cannot offer international relocation costs or housing. Core Responsibilities

Teach students across different year groups in the International Baccalaureate Programme as part of the Individuals and Societies Department. Collaborate with colleagues to design the curriculum and contribute to school life through mentoring or supporting student initiatives and clubs.

Requirements

Candidates must have a teaching qualification recognized by DUO, a master's degree in History, Global Politics, or a related field, and experience teaching History and/or Theory of Knowledge at secondary-school level. Experience teaching IB MYP courses is sought, along with multidisciplinary interests and residence in the Netherlands with a valid work visa or an EU or Dutch passport.
