International Payroll Manager – Amsterdam We are working with a large, multi-billion-dollar US organisation that is continuing to expand its European operations and is looking for an experienced payroll professional to join its Amsterdam team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking genuine ownership of payroll rather than simply managing it from a distance. You’ll work closely with colleagues in the US and external payroll partners, taking responsibility for accurate and timely payroll delivery across multiple European entities. The initial focus will include the Netherlands, UK and Italy, with the Netherlands forming a key part of the remit. You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to help shape processes and build a scalable payroll operation as the European business develops. What we’re looking for: 5+ years’ payroll experience, ideally within an international environment Strong hands-on Netherlands payroll knowledge Exposure to UK and/or Italian payroll Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country payrolls Comfortable working directly with external payroll providers Experience with ADP payroll solutions, ideally ADP Celergo / Global Payroll Payroll implementation, migration or process-improvement experience would be highly advantageous Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations and compliance Someone who genuinely enjoys being hands-on, accountable and close to the detail This is a permanent, full-time position based in Amsterdam, working four days per week onsite. Core Responsibilities

Own accurate and timely payroll delivery across multiple European entities, initially focusing on the Netherlands, the UK, and Italy. Work with US colleagues and external payroll partners to improve processes and help build a scalable European payroll operation.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least five years of payroll experience, ideally in an international environment, with strong hands-on knowledge of Netherlands payroll and exposure to UK and/or Italian payroll. Experience with multi-country payrolls, external providers, ADP solutions, payroll controls, reconciliations, compliance, and implementation or process improvement is sought.
