Job Description In this diverse role, you will take responsibility for the procurement of key raw materials and packaging materials, support the further development of our purchasing strategy, and lead cross-site projects within the Kolb Group. Your Responsibilities Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk (NL) production site Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group Manage contracts within the SAP MM module, with a particular focus on the Moerdijk site Support and further develop the contract management tool Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement Lead and coordinate cross-site procurement projects Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group Serve as a member of the SAP MM Core Team As a candidate you have the following knowledge, experience and competences; Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent higher professional qualification Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the chemical industry Proven track record in international price and contract negotiations Excellent knowledge of SAP MM Experience in contract and supplier management Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills High level of initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness Project management experience and the ability to provide functional leadership to project teams Fluent English, both written and spoken; Dutch and/or German is an advantage Strategic mindset with strong cross-functional thinking Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach to work Excellent communication skills and professional stakeholder management High degree of resilience and flexibility Enjoy working in an international environment Willingness to travel approximately 4-6 times per year (plants, suppliers, trade fairs) About Us With more than 500 employees, KLK Kolb & KLK Tensachem are leading alkoxylation and sulphation companies in Europe. Core Responsibilities

Procure raw and packaging materials, negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts in SAP MM, and help develop procurement strategy and supply security plans. Act as deputy to the Chemical Procurement Team Lead and lead cross-site procurement projects, including strategic and operational packaging sourcing.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in business administration, supply chain management, chemistry, industrial engineering, or an equivalent higher professional qualification, along with several years of strategic procurement experience, ideally in the chemical industry. They should bring strong SAP MM, negotiation, contract and supplier management, analytical, project leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent English is required, while Dutch and/or German is an advantage.
