Shape the future of rewards at Royal Terberg Group As Senior Manager Global Rewards, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing Royal Terberg Group’s reward agenda across our international organisation. As the Group’s leading expert on Compensation & Benefits, you will help ensure that our reward frameworks support business objectives, strengthen fairness and transparency, and enable Terberg to attract and retain talent. Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will regularly prepare analyses and recommendations for senior HR, Finance and business leadership. You will contribute to Group-wide people governance and work closely with divisional and country HR teams. This is a senior individual-contributor role without direct line management responsibility. Your impact will come through expertise, structure and influence across countries and divisions. About The Group HR Center Of Expertise Group HR is further developing its people agenda, with a focus on talent, leadership, HR digitalisation, rewards and data-driven decision-making. The Center of Expertise supports the Group and its divisions by setting frameworks, creating transparency and enabling consistent, business-relevant HR practices. Your role You will develop, advise on and coordinate Group-wide reward policies, frameworks and related activities. You will help ensure that reward practices are fair, competitive, compliant and aligned with business priorities and the values of a family-owned company. Your scope includes job architecture, salary and bonus governance, executive and broad-based reward topics, pay transparency, HR analytics and workforce-related sustainability reporting. You will also support the collection, validation and interpretation of HR data required for future CSRD and ESRS reporting. Key Responsibilities Rewards strategy and governance Develop and implement an annual rewards roadmap aligned with the Group HR strategy and business priorities. Lead the further professionalisation of Group-wide reward policies and frameworks, including salary structures, variable pay, promotions, mobility and selected employee benefits. Own and further develop the Group job framework, including job evaluation, grading principles and alignment with local grading systems. Advise on and coordinate the annual salary and bonus review process, ensuring clear governance, timely execution and reliable data. Monitor external market trends and translate relevant developments into practical recommendations for Terberg. Advisory, compliance and stakeholder management Advise senior management, divisional HR leaders and business stakeholders on compensation, benefits and broader reward matters. Act as the Group subject matter expert on rewards, variable pay, employee benefits and mobility-related reward topics. Prepare clear analyses, scenarios and recommendations for senior HR, Finance and business leadership. Support compliance with relevant local legislation and emerging requirements, including equal pay, pay transparency and human rights-related labour standards. HR data and sustainability reporting Coordinate the collection, validation and interpretation of workforce data required for future CSRD and ESRS reporting, in close collaboration with HR, Finance, Sustainability and local business teams. Contribute HR and workforce expertise to Group-level sustainability reporting, with particular focus on relevant social reporting requirements. Further develop HR KPI dashboards and reporting standards to improve transparency, insight and decision-making. Strengthen HR data governance, ownership, definitions and validation processes across the Group. Drive continuous improvement in HR data quality, reporting processes and digital HR workflows. Translate data into meaningful insights for Group-level reporting and management decision-making. Collaboration and network leadership Act as a strong connector within the international HR network, building alignment across countries and divisions without direct line management authority. Contribute to broader Group HR projects and policies through your expertise in rewards, HR data and digitalisation. Work in a pragmatic, collaborative and business-oriented way, balancing Group-wide consistency with local relevance. Your background You are a credible and experienced rewards professional with strong analytical capabilities, solid HR data experience and the confidence to operate in an international matrix organisation. You translate complex reward topics into clear business advice and build effective solutions together with HR colleagues across countries and divisions. We Are Looking For Someone Who Brings At least 10 years of relevant experience in compensation, benefits and rewards, preferably gained in an international corporate environment or a relevant consultancy role. A relevant master’s degree, for example in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and substantial professional experience. Demonstrable experience with job architecture, job evaluation, grading, salary structures, variable pay and reward governance. Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent Excel capabilities and the ability to work with complex data sets. Experience with HRIS, HR data processes and reporting tools, combined with a strong interest in HR analytics, digitalisation and developments in AI. Affinity with ESG and CSRD-related HR data collection and reporting, particularly within the social reporting domain. Business and financial acumen, combined with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. A pragmatic, structured and hands-on approach, with the ability to translate strategy into clear processes and deliverables. Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage but not a requirement. Willingness to travel occasionally. Requirements
Requires at least 10 years of relevant compensation, benefits, and rewards experience, preferably in an international corporate or consultancy environment, plus a relevant master’s degree or equivalent experience. Candidates should bring strong analytical and Excel skills, experience with job architecture and HR data, business acumen, stakeholder influence, excellent English communication, and willingness to travel occasionally.
