Telespazio Belgium has an on‑site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled End to End Communications Systems Engineer to work there. What is expected from you: Maintain and further develop the Section’s Simulation and Analysis Tools. Design, implement, test, and validate new simulation capabilities and analytical functions. Ensure the reliability, performance, and documentation of simulation software and tools. Support international standardization activities, with particular focus on CCSDS standards and working groups. Contribute to the definition, review, and implementation of relevant technical standards. Perform dedicated simulations and analyses in support of mission development activities. Support mission studies, trade-off analyses, and system performance assessments. Conduct simulations and technical analyses for research and development (R&D) programmes. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical results. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders across projects. What you offer: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. Proven experience in simulation, modelling, and analysis of complex systems. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar. Experience with software development, verification, validation, and configuration management. Knowledge of systems engineering principles and analytical methodologies. Familiarity with space mission analysis, spacecraft operations, or communication systems. Knowledge of CCSDS standards and/or participation in standardization activities is considered an asset. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in an international environment. Core Responsibilities
Maintain and develop simulation and analysis tools, designing, implementing, testing, and validating new capabilities while ensuring software reliability and documentation. Support CCSDS standardization, mission studies, trade-off analyses, performance assessments, and R&D through technical simulations, analyses, reports, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
A master's degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, computer science, physics, telecommunications, or a related discipline is requested, along with proven experience in simulation, modelling, and analysis of complex systems. Candidates should have strong programming and software lifecycle skills, systems engineering knowledge, and familiarity with space missions, spacecraft operations, or communications; CCSDS standards experience is an asset.
