Would you love to build the administrative foundation of a brand-new warehouse at Schiphol from the ground up? Then we are looking for you as a Warehouse Administrator at AIT Worldwide Logistics! This is what you will do As a Warehouse Administrator, you are the vital link between the truck drivers at the counter, the warehouse floor, and our office departments. You serve as the gatekeeper of our warehouse, ensuring that every shipment is processed seamlessly from both an administrative and operational standpoint. Your daily responsibilities: Driver Reception & Gatekeeping: Welcome and register international drivers via our Visitor Management System, performing ID checks and verifying shipping/transport documentation. WMS & CargoWise Management: Accurately process, monitor, and track inbound and outbound shipments, milestones, and inventory records. Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Align continuously with the warehouse team regarding staging priorities, loading/unloading, and printing necessary documentation. Inventory & Quality Control: Support cycle counts, inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and process PODs/POPs. Escalation & Operational Support: Address day-to-day operational inquiries, support customs inspections, and contribute to continuous workflow improvements. This is you Experience & Affinity: At least 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics/warehouse administration and WMS platforms (experience with CargoWise is a strong advantage!). Language Skills: Fluent in English (oral and written); Dutch is helpful but not mandatory. Background Check (VGB): Eligible for a Dutch VGB security clearance (must have lived continuously within the EU for the past 8 consecutive years). Flexibility & Shift Work: Full-time availability (40 hours) and willing to work in rotating shifts (early shift ~06:00 – 14:30, late shift ~14:00 – 22:30, and occasional weekend coverage). Personality: Hands-on mindset, proactive, energetic, and stress-resilient. You enjoy pioneering and building things from scratch. The offer Competitive Salary: €2,800 to €3,600 gross per month based on 40 hours (depending on your experience). Overtime & Shift Allowances: Excellent allowances for weekend and overtime work (Saturday 150%, Sunday 200%). Core Responsibilities

Welcome and register drivers, verify identification and transport documents, and process and track inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse systems. Coordinate warehouse activities, support inventory counts and audits, process delivery and pickup records, assist with customs inspections, and help improve workflows.

Requirements

Candidates should have 1–3 years of logistics or warehouse administration experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems; CargoWise experience is an advantage. Fluent English, eligibility for Dutch VGB clearance (including continuous EU residence for the past eight consecutive years), full-time availability, and willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends are required.
