About the role The AP specialist reports to the Finance and Accounting Team Leader for The Netherlands. You will work closely with other colleagues from the Finance Department, other Morrison Express Departments, in particular Operations, and with suppliers. You will be responsible for accounts payable for specific elements of the Dutch business, which may change from time to time and also support in day-to-day accounting and supplier communication and payment activities. The objective of the role is to ensure that supplier invoices are received and recorded timely and accurately, suppliers are paid on time and interruptions to supply due to non-payment of invoices is avoided. Roles and Responsibilities Registering and posting purchase invoices, both on the basis of purchase orders and manual coding of invoices Processing the bank book, recording payments and receipts Preparation of daily and weekly payments Review and clearance of aged open PO’s Reconciliation of invoices recorded to supplier SOA’s (statements of account) to identify and capture missing invoices Support supplier requests for information required to provide the company with credit Act as a backup for the accounts receivable specialist when required Qualifications and Experience Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch and / or German would be a plus. Good Microsoft Excel skills. Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Team player, eager to learn and show initiative. Several years experience working with ERP systems. Capable of working independently. Studies in economics/business administration with a focus on finance or comparable commercial qualifications would be a plus. What We Offer Profit Share Program: We win together! Core Responsibilities

Register and post purchase invoices, process bank transactions, prepare payments, review aged purchase orders, and reconcile recorded invoices against supplier statements. Communicate with suppliers, support credit-related information requests, and provide backup for accounts receivable when needed.

Requirements

Candidates need at least three years of experience in a similar role, several years of experience with ERP systems, good Microsoft Excel skills, and strong written and verbal English communication. Dutch or German, relevant finance or business studies, teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently are advantageous.
