Corporate Management Training Program at Hyatt Are you a talented and ambitious individual ready to launch your career in hospitality operations? Hyatt's Corporate Management Training (CMT) Program is a comprehensive hotel management program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and real-world experience needed to excel as a future hotel leader. As a CMT, you'll develop your management capabilities, gain deep exposure in your area of specialization, get insights into other hotel departments, and make meaningful contributions to your hotel's success. You will specialize in Rooms or Food and Beverage, gaining experience across Front of House, Housekeeping or Food and Beverage throughout the program. What You’ll Experience: Program Highlights Our 12-month program includes: Technical Skills Module: Develop a strong foundation in key technical skills and operational procedures, with exposure across Front of House, Housekeeping or Food & Beverage. Management Module: Step into managerial responsibilities, gaining practical experience in leading teams, managing resources and driving performance. Rotation Module: Gain a holistic understanding of hotel operations through exposure to other departments, including Finance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Human Resources. Leadership Development: Participate in team-leading tasks, management projects and various leadership programs. Mentorship & Coaching: Work closely with assigned program managers and mentors to guide your development. Customized Training Plan: You will receive a personalized training plan tailored to your individual career objectives and developmental needs. Relevant Experience: Previous internship or work experience in hospitality or a related field is highly preferred. Studies in hospitality, hotel management, tourism or a related discipline would be beneficial, but are not essential. The Opportunity Location: Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht Department: Rooms or Food & Beverage Program length: 12 months Program structure: 10 months specializing in the Rooms department or Food & Beverage, with exposure across Front of House, Housekeeping or Food and Beverage followed by 2 months of exposure across other key hotel departments, including Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Finance and Human Resources. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality major or related field Language Skills: A good working knowledge of English Language/ Proficiency in local language may be required in some countries Experience: Relevant internship and work experience in hotel operations is an advantage Assignment: Eligibility to work at the same hotel upon graduation subject to local labor legislations Work Permit: to be customized accordingly to the local legislation

Core Responsibilities

Complete a 12-month management training program, specializing in Rooms or Food and Beverage and gaining operational experience across Front of House, Housekeeping, or Food and Beverage. Take on team leadership and management responsibilities, contribute to projects, and rotate through departments including Finance, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, and Human Resources.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is specified, and relevant hotel operations internship or work experience is an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate leadership potential, a genuine interest in hospitality, adaptability, a willingness to learn, and strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; English proficiency is expected.
