International HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – ADR/Dangerous Goods Carousel Logistics is seeking a professional and experienced International HGV Class 1 Driver (Category C+E) to join our team. About the Role In this role, you will support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our international transport network. You will complete deliveries, collections and trunking movements across the European road network while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, security and customer service. Pay and hours: €20.24 per hour, based on 40 hours per week, plus a €30 overnight allowance. The role involves regular nights away from home. Key Responsibilities Operate Category C+E vehicles safely and professionally on international routes throughout Europe. Complete deliveries, collections and trunking movements in accordance with operational instructions, planned routes and agreed schedules. Carry out all required vehicle, trailer, load-security and safety checks, reporting defects promptly through the appropriate process. Ensure loads are transported safely and securely and comply with all applicable border, customs and dangerous-goods procedures. Load and unload vehicles where required, ensuring freight is handled safely and all supporting documentation is accurate and complete. Maintain accurate delivery, collection, tachograph and transport records throughout each journey. Comply with company procedures and all relevant drivers’ hours, working-time, road-transport, health and safety, and ADR requirements. Communicate professionally with customers, depots, transport teams and other stakeholders. Maintain the vehicle and cab in a clean, safe and presentable condition. Candidate Requirements Valid Category C+E driving licence and all legally required professional driver documentation. Previous international road-haulage experience, including experience driving on the European road network. Good working knowledge of international transport procedures, vehicle safety, load security and transport documentation. Ability and willingness to work away from home and complete regular overnight stays. Strong attention to detail, a safety-focused approach and the ability to work independently to agreed schedules. Ability to understand written and spoken English sufficiently to follow instructions, complete documentation and communicate effectively. Core Responsibilities

Operate Category C+E vehicles on international European routes, completing deliveries, collections, and trunking movements safely and to schedule. Conduct vehicle and load checks, maintain accurate transport records, comply with road transport and dangerous-goods requirements, and communicate professionally with customers and operational teams.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Category C+E licence and required professional driver documentation, with previous international road-haulage experience and knowledge of transport procedures, vehicle safety, load security, and documentation. They must be willing to stay away overnight, work independently, and understand written and spoken English; an ADR qualification is desirable, and training may be provided.
