At WP SEO AI, we’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer who combines strong technical skills with a sharp eye for design, curiosity for AI, and the ambition to help build something from the ground up. About WP SEO AI WP SEO AI is a B2B SaaS company providing AI-powered SEO content generation tools that help businesses grow their online presence through smarter content and search strategies. We have grown from €3M to €10M in recurring yearly revenue in 2025 and are targeting €50M within the next 24 months. We’re a bootstrapped, founder-led company, which means we don’t rely on external investors. This gives us the freedom to make fast, long-term decisions independently. Our team of 175+ people supports over 1,700 clients across the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Belgium, the UK and US while adding around 100 clients each month. Our technology combines advanced AI with deep human SEO expertise to help businesses increase organic traffic, improve search rankings and reach more customers online. We are now expanding beyond SEO into GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and other areas of digital growth. As part of this expansion, we are building a new website maintenance and redesign service completely in-house. What started as a service delivered through external partners has already gained significant traction, with our international sales team landing new deals quickly. You will be the first person in this role for our Amsterdam HQ, working alongside a small, ambitious team that is currently three people and growing. Your ideas will have a direct impact on the development of the business, from the websites we build to the tools, processes and systems we use behind the scenes. You’ll also be joining an international environment where you’ll work with clients across different markets. Our German sales team is already generating strong demand, while our Dutch market continues to grow, so experience with both German and Dutch clients would be a major advantage. The role As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll take ownership of building, maintaining, redesigning and improving websites for our clients. You’ll work across the full website lifecycle. That means understanding what a client needs, turning ideas and content into a polished website, solving technical issues, making improvements and ensuring everything works as it should. You’ll have plenty of room to develop your own approach and experiment with modern development tools, including AI coding agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. Because you’ll be joining at an early stage, we’re looking for someone who wants more than just a development job. We want someone who is excited about helping build the business itself and becoming an important part of the core team as we scale. What you'll do Build, customise, maintain and troubleshoot modern WordPress websites Turn client requirements, content and ideas into polished, responsive websites with strong UX Work with hosting environments, domains, DNS, SSL, email and web servers Manage technical website migrations, deployments, redirects and other maintenance tasks Apply technical SEO and GEO principles to the websites you build Improve site structure, crawlability, indexing, performance, metadata, structured data and canonicalisation Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and understand how modern websites are built Use Git, APIs and contemporary development and deployment workflows Use AI coding tools and agents to accelerate development and solve problems more efficiently Troubleshoot issues independently and take ownership when something breaks Work directly with the wider team to understand client requirements and find practical solutions Help develop the systems, processes and standards that will allow the website business to scale What we are looking for Proven experience developing and working independently with WordPress Strong eye for web design, UX and responsive websites Hands-on experience with hosting, DNS, domains and SSL Understanding of technical SEO and GEO Familiarity with Git, APIs, HTML, CSS and JavaScript Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or similar Strong proficiency and application of AI and automation Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset Fluent in Dutch or German, with both languages being a strong plus Good command of English, our company language What we offer you A base salary of €4,000 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance The opportunity to join a new business unit at an early stage and play a key role in shaping its future The freedom to experiment with modern development technologies and AI-native workflows The opportunity to work across WordPress development, web design, hosting, SEO and GEO A team that values ownership, initiative and new ideas over rigid processes The opportunity to grow with the business and become an important part of its core team as we scale A dynamic, fast-changing environment at one of Europe’s fastest-growing scale-ups A culture of empowerment, trust and openness where we focus on personal development and give colleagues the freedom to make mistakes, learn and grow Our brand-new office at Rokin in Amsterdam, surrounded by an international team of 175+ colleagues Company outings, regular trips to Finland and plenty of opportunities to celebrate our successes together This is a particularly exciting moment to join us. Core Responsibilities

Build, customize, maintain, redesign, and troubleshoot client WordPress websites, handling the full lifecycle from requirements and design through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Apply technical SEO and GEO practices, use modern development and AI tools, and help establish the processes and standards needed to scale the website business.

Requirements

Candidates should have proven independent WordPress development experience, a strong eye for design and UX, and hands-on knowledge of hosting, DNS, domains, SSL, technical SEO, Git, APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They should be proficient with AI and automation, proactive problem-solvers, fluent in Dutch or German, and have a good command of English.
