Job Description

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Application installation, configuration and administration in production and non-production environments; Application monitoring, performance tuning and continuous improvement of the efficiency and quality of service; Applications support and maintenance activities such as incident, change, release and problem resolution; Writing and validating application procedures manuals, including troubleshooting guides, backup and restore plans; Automating administrative procedures for recurring system administration activities and provide installation and technical support documentation where required; Contributing to the structuring, maintenance and development of the technical knowledgebase supporting the ICT Operations activities; Eeporting on application availability, performance, capacity and overall usage where required. REQUIREMENTS: Min 15 years of IT Experience A minimum of 6 years of experience working as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including deployment, support and maintenance of applications. A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT professional in the area of application administration A minimum of 2 years of experience with micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes A minimum of 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch A minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Public or Hybrid Cloud services and solutions (AZURE or AWS). Good knowledge of the deployment and administration of Elasticsearch clusters Good knowledge of micro-services, container orchestration and container-based stacks using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker and Rancher Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chocolatey) Good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting Good knowledge of ITIL, including the incident, change and release management processes Level : Expert Deadline 14/09/26 Only EU Citizens can apply Delivery mode : Near Site (The Hague, Netherlands)

Core Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain applications across production and non-production environments, including performance tuning and support for incidents, changes, releases, and problems. Create and validate operational procedures and technical documentation, automate recurring administration tasks, maintain the ICT Operations knowledge base, and report on application availability, performance, capacity, and usage.

Requirements

Requires at least 15 years of IT experience, including substantial experience in application administration and supporting applications in mid-to-large infrastructure environments. Candidates must also have experience with Elasticsearch, enterprise Microsoft or Linux servers, cloud services, containers and orchestration, configuration management, scripting, and ITIL processes.
