Reporting to the Manager - Fund Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Fund Services and its’ growth. Key Responsibilities Preparation/Reviewing of bookkeeping (e.g. accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investments according to Dutch GAAP but also IFRS) Preparing/Reviewing of periodic reports Preparation/Reviewing of Financial Statements and assistance with statutory audits Preparing/Reviewing Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values (Investor reporting) Reading/understanding Fund documents like Subscription documents, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements for existing/new funds Preparing/Reviewing capital call and distribution notices Preparing/Reviewing waterfall and equalization workings Coordinating and dealing with Fund investors on meeting investor’s specific reporting requirements Reviewing investor requests and any ad hoc requests from client Client contact and communication with our Centre of Excellence Key Requirements Effective client-handling skills Strong prioritizing ability and organizational skills Analytical, meticulous, and systematic in approach to work Possess 3-5 years of experience in audit / accounting fields in Venture Capital/Private Equity Fund industry. Prior experience with another Fund Administrator or Fund Manager is preferred Sound knowledge of Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written Adequate excel skills Possess a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration or equivalent; Company Benefits At Vistra Netherlands, we offer a challenging position in an ambitious organization where no day is the same. Core Responsibilities
Prepare and review fund bookkeeping, periodic reports, financial statements, investor reporting, capital calls and distributions, and waterfall and equalization calculations. Review fund documentation, coordinate investor reporting requests, and communicate with clients and the Centre of Excellence.
Requirements
Candidates should have 3–5 years of audit or accounting experience in the venture capital or private equity fund industry, with experience at a fund administrator or fund manager preferred. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant business or accounting field, knowledge of Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS, strong English, Excel skills, and effective organizational and client-handling abilities are required.
