The team works closely with clients to implement practical AI solutions that drive measurable business impact. Role Description The Generative AI Engineer will design, build, and optimize systems that leverage large language models and other generative AI technologies to support content, automation, and agentic workflows for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and testing prompts, integrating AI models into applications, fine-tuning and benchmarking model performance, and collaborating with content, product, and engineering teams to ship reliable AI-powered features. The engineer will also maintain and improve existing AI pipelines, monitor system performance, implement safeguards and evaluation frameworks, and document best practices for internal and client use. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oostzaan, working closely with teams in the Netherlands and Nairobi to deliver scalable AI solutions. Qualifications Strong skills in Python or similar programming languages, along with experience integrating APIs from leading AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open-source LLMs). Hands-on experience with generative AI, including prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, evaluation, and building end-to-end pipelines for real-world applications. Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, data processing, and version control tools (e.g., Git), plus familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker) is beneficial. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex AI concepts in clear, accessible language. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in AI development. Experience working with (international) teams, interest in emerging AI tools and frameworks and a proactive approach to experimentation, documentation and continuous improvement. Requirements

A degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience—is requested, along with communication, collaboration, and experimentation skills.
