Job Description

YOUR ROLE: The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for Travel Retail (TR) store development projects from the inception of a new deal through opening. This role requires exceptional organization and communication skills, a positive and proactive mindset, and the ability to work on several projects concurrently. The PM must be planful, solution-oriented, collaborative with internal cross-functional partners and external partners/vendors, and possess a strong attention to detail. YOUR IMPACT: Full accountability for TR store development projects of assigned partner accounts Deliver projects on time, within or below budget, and aligned with brand design standards Develop strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders (vendors, partners, Airport Authorities, contractors) Engage with and influence appropriate stakeholders to minimize project barriers Manage pre-project requirements (e.g., gather ready to start documents, share new deal materials with vendors for schedule and project budget creation, analyze schedules and budgets to identify areas for potential improvement, and confirm resource strategies) Monitor and effectively manage project budgets and key milestones, including design and production, and call out changes to the schedule in a timely manner Advocate for brand integrity by displaying a clear understanding of design objectives to effectively communicate local conditions or requirements that would impact the design or branding of the space Display a fundamental understanding of int’l logistic processes and documentation required for int’l shipping Display in-depth knowledge of details, assemblies, and critical branded elements used in VS store designs Quality control and manage timely punch completion to ensure excellent brand representation to the customer Complete various financial aspects of projects including PO creation/closure and timely invoice payment Other Key Activities: International travel associated with jobsite visits Value engineering and cost reduction exercises Process creation and development YOUR EXPERIENCE: Degree from 4-year university in related field (preferably construction, architectural, engineering) 5+ years of experience in project mgt, design and/or construction in luxury retail or other highly branded environment Experience managing airport/retail/mall store development/construction projects Technical expertise that supports development and mgmt of large-scale projects, managing a variety of project types simultaneously Strong influencing skills, creative thinking, and problem solving High energy level, self-motivated, and able to motivate teams/partners at different levels in the organization Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to create reliable, collaborative business partnerships focused on achieving positive results Demonstrated willingness to learn new things and a curiosity to identify solutions Ability to connect dots, gather information, determine recommendations and/or next steps Ability to travel internationally Fluent in Spanish is a plus TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES: Technologically savvy with proficiency in typical PC software and web-based systems (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SAP/Open Text/AutoCAD), and ability to read design/construction drawings COMPENSATION: €78,000.00-102,375.00

Requirements

Requires a degree from a four-year university in a related field, preferably construction, architecture, or engineering, and at least five years of project management, design, or construction experience in luxury retail or another highly branded environment. Candidates should have experience with airport or retail store development, strong communication and influencing skills, the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, and international travel availability; Spanish is a plus.
