Role Description The Constructeur - ZZP role at Green South is a part-time, remote position focused on structural design and analysis for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing and reviewing structural calculations, preparing design drawings and technical documentation, and checking designs for safety, feasibility, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to refine concepts and support the full project lifecycle from preliminary design to construction. The Constructeur will also provide technical input on value engineering, support client communication when needed, and ensure that deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Qualifications Strong structural engineering expertise, including experience with load calculations, material behavior, and structural analysis. Proficiency with relevant design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Eurocode-based calculation tools, Technosoft, Matrix, SCIA). Solid understanding of Dutch (NL) building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Ability to produce clear technical drawings, specifications, and calculation reports suitable for construction and client review. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and remote stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to quality and risk management. Experience working as a self-employed/ZZP professional, with capability to manage own schedule, workload, and documentation. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Professional experience in structural design and consulting, ideally within Dutch or UK markets. Proficiency in Dutch.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, structural, or a closely related engineering discipline, professional structural design or consulting experience, and proficiency in Dutch. Candidates should have expertise in structural analysis and Dutch codes, relevant design software skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and experience managing work independently as a self-employed professional.
