We are looking for an experienced AI Security Engineer to help secure enterprise and scientific AI platforms operating across Azure and GCP.
In this role, you will translate AI security controls into secure, production-ready platform configurations. This is a hands-on engineering position rather than a policy or advisory role. You will build infrastructure-as-code, security controls, CI/CD gates and continuous compliance mechanisms that ensure AI workloads meet security and governance requirements.
You will work across Kubernetes environments, cloud networking, identity and access management, API security and observability, collaborating closely with AI Engineers and Security specialists.

• Translate AI security requirements into technical platform configurations across Azure and GCP
• Build and maintain Terraform modules for secure AI infrastructure
• Implement GitOps and CI/CD security gates using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Configure and secure Kubernetes environments using AKS and GKE
• Design VNet/VPC segmentation and private endpoints
• Implement IAM, RBAC/ABAC, least-privilege access and workload identity
• Develop policy-as-code and continuous compliance controls
• Build secure API integration layers for AI platforms
• Implement monitoring, anomaly detection and security observability
• Support security and governance requirements including ISO 27001, GDPR and the EU AI Act
• 5+ years of experience with software development and/or platform engineering
• Hands-on cloud platform engineering experience, preferably within AI/ML environments
• Strong hands-on experience with both Azure and GCP
• Kubernetes experience with AKS and/or GKE
• Expert-level Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code experience
• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC/ABAC and workload identity
• Experience with cloud networking, VNet/VPC segmentation and private endpoints
• Experience with policy-as-code and continuous compliance
• Strong security-first engineering mindset
Nice to have
• Experience securing AI/ML or LLM platforms
• LLM guardrails, prompt injection prevention or content filtering experience
• MCP gateway or similar tool-level access control experience
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo or Grafana
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, EU AI Act and GDPR
• Experience with GPU workloads or GPU-enabled Kubernetes environments

Requirements
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development or platform engineering with hands-on expertise in Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. A strong security-first engineering mindset and proficiency in Terraform and GitOps are essential for this role.
