Tax Intern – Transfer Pricing at Yinson Production – The Hague, Netherlands

Join Yinson Production, a global leader in floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessels, as a Tax Intern – Transfer Pricing. This is a part-time, onsite internship based at our office in The Hague for a duration of six months, starting a.s.a.p. We welcome candidates currently residing within 50 km of our office in the Netherlands.

As a Tax Intern – Transfer Pricing, you will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of transfer pricing matters, as well as valuable exposure to international tax planning and structuring within a dynamic international business environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop your understanding of transfer pricing principles, documentation, analysis, and operational implementation through meaningful projects and close collaboration with experienced tax professionals.

Role Overview

As a Tax Intern – Transfer Pricing, your responsibilities will focus on several core areas of transfer pricing, including:

• Contributing to the implementation of transfer pricing policies by assisting with intercompany charging processes and operational workflows.

• Supporting the design and implementation of cost allocation methodologies for shared services, including the assessment of allocation keys and recharge mechanisms.

• Preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking analyses, and supporting the team in maintaining appropriate documentation for the group’s international activities.

• Reviewing and drafting intercompany agreements to support alignment with internal transfer pricing policies.

• Assisting with the collection, reconciliation, and analysis of financial data used for transfer pricing calculations and documentation, including the analysis of intercompany transactions and relevant financial and business information.

• Supporting the preparation of internal memoranda, analyses, reports, presentations, and implementation materials on transfer pricing matters and ongoing projects.

• Collaborating with finance, treasury, legal, and tax teams to support the implementation of transfer pricing arrangements across international entities.

• Conducting research on current transfer pricing developments across the jurisdictions in which we operate, including OECD guidelines and BEPS, relevant regulatory developments, and applicable tax treaties influencing cross-border activities.

Candidate Profile

We seek proactive and dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Master’s degree program such as tax law, (fiscal) economics, accounting, or finance.

• Strong analytical capabilities backed by a solid understanding of international tax principles, economics, and financial reporting, as well as an interest in working with financial and business information.

• Genuine interest in transfer pricing and international taxation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to manage data analysis and presentations effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex tax concepts clearly and logically.

• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• A collaborative team player with meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to work.

• Experience with tax research tools such as IBFD or Bloomberg Tax is advantageous.

• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch is considered a plus but is not required.
