DIGITAL LEARNING MANAGER fixed term contract 12 months fulltime
As Digital Learning Manager for CHANEL’s Fragrance & Beauty activities across Benelux and Scandinavia, you will drive the regional strategy and translate business priorities into engaging learning experiences. You will develop blended learning journeys, roll out digital solutions and build an active learning community, working with regional stakeholders and Europe Learning teams to maximise adoption and impact while supervising the Digital Learning intern.

Strategic Leadership & Regional Alignment
- Define and drive the long-term digital learning strategy for Benelux and Scandinavia, including the development roadmap and communication plans
- Ensure strategic alignment with regional marketing and commercial teams, maintaining strong collaboration with Global/Europe Learning teams
- Represent Benelux and Scandinavia within the European Digital Learning Community, sharing insights and best practices
Blended Learning & Engagement
- Design blended learning paths tailored to regional stakeholders (wholesale, retail), working closely with the learning team to ensure clarity, visibility, and impact
- Anchor digital learning routines that foster engagement, learning time, and reward systems across both regions
- Master the e-learning application, adapting promotion strategies to regional specifics and maximizing adoption
Innovation
- Lead digital learning innovation initiatives, leveraging intern’s support to implement best practices and foster a digital learning culture for both front and back office
- Oversee the diversification of digital learning solutions, ensuring ongoing monitoring of industry trends and integrating innovative approaches
- Project manage the roll out of the new digital learning platform
Content Strategy & Collaboration
- Guide and supervise the creation and adaptation of local content (podcasts, tutorials, videos, etc.) with trainers, creative developers and the intern
- Ensure content development aligns with priorities of the Europe region and local marketing plans
Engagement
- Create, animate, and inspire a vibrant digital learning community across Benelux and Scandinavia, supported by the intern
- Schedule and oversee long-term communication plans, proposing new training initiatives and engagement programs
- Facilitate and oversee digital trainings & events for retail and wholesale
Performance Management & Reporting
- Oversee user data management and analytics on the LMS, ensuring effective reporting and actionable insights (Excel + PowerBI)
- Anticipate and resolve technical challenges
- Manage the digital learning budget, ensuring resource efficiency and strategic investments
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor the Digital Learning intern, delegating operational tasks and fostering skill growth
- Promote autonomy and professional development within the learning team, ensuring high performance and engagement
What you will bring to the team:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Learning or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital learning strategy, project management, ideally within an international environment
- Passion for data analysis - you don’t just run reports, you ask questions, dig deeper and turn findings into stories that drive action.
- Ability to operate strategically while overseeing operational execution through an intern
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience in retail, FMCG or luxury is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch, French or Scandinavian languages are a plus
- Collaborative team player who can work independently and support a team
- Fulltime available and living in or around Amsterdam

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or Learning and possess at least 5 years of experience in digital learning strategy and project management. Excellent English communication skills and current residency in the Netherlands are mandatory.
