About Your Role As a Consultant Smart IT Solutions, you operate at the intersection of engineering, data and consultancy within complex industrial environments. You help clients in sectors such as oil & gas, chemicals and renewables to improve their quality, asset and compliance processes through smart, data-driven IT solutions. By advising, implementing and optimising systems, you enable organisations to work safer, more efficiently and with greater control. In doing so, you make a direct and tangible contribution to improving operational performance and building lasting trust with our clients. Your Responsibilities Include: Delivering second-party services on smart IT solutions, including: QMS-related solutions Root cause and problem analysis Implementation and customisation of systems Working within the process industry, focusing on: Oil & Gas (Offshore / Upstream) Chemical industry Renewables Advising clients and supporting improvements in asset and quality-related processes using IT and data You collaborate closely with engineers, asset owners and management, translating technical input into practical, scalable solutions. Working with Viewport Versatec is providing services in a unique platform: Viewport, which plays a central role at many of our clients. Viewport: Integrates data from multiple sources, such as: Technical drawings Orders and documentation Emails Internet and external databases Functions as an intelligent search and validation engine Combines various input types to enable targeted analyses Applies early, practical forms of AI to identify patterns, inconsistencies and risks As a Consultant, you actively work with Viewport, implementing it at client sites, configuring and customising it, and helping clients extract maximum value from their data. Who are you? You do not need prior consulting experience. We are open to candidates who want to transition from a technical background into consultancy. Core Responsibilities

Deliver and configure smart IT solutions, including QMS-related systems, for clients in the oil and gas, chemical, and renewable energy industries. Advise clients on improving asset, quality, and compliance processes, using the Viewport platform to integrate and analyze data and identify risks.

Requirements

A completed technical bachelor's or master's degree in a field such as mechanical, chemical process, electrical, or instrumentation engineering is required. Candidates should have an interest in IT, data integration, process optimization, and the process industry, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate in English with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
