Job Description

As Product Owner Fleet at Boels, you turn business priorities into digital solutions that create value across our international Fleet supply chain—from planning and procurement to logistics, maintenance, returns and disposal. You connect the different stakeholders and translate the Fleet roadmap into clear objectives and feasible priorities. In your day-to-day work, you refine and prioritize user stories and keep the backlog clear and feasible. You guide a multidisciplinary development team through delivery and implementation. Before development starts, you align business requirements with technical possibilities. You monitor results, gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve the way Fleet works. Your Responsibilities Maximize the value of Fleet products and systems. Balance business priorities, user needs, dependencies and technical feasibility. Translate the Fleet roadmap and product strategy into clear priorities for the development team. Communicate decisions to stakeholders. Refine and prioritize user stories within agreed features. Keep the backlog clear, feasible and aligned with changing priorities. Work closely with Product Management, Fleet specialists, IT, developers and other business stakeholders. Turn improvement opportunities and relevant technology developments into practical, scalable Fleet solutions. Track delivery, product results and stakeholder feedback. Use data to improve priorities and outcomes. What do we offer? This Is What You Bring A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field. At least five years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, project management, business analysis or software development. Experience in a complex or international environment working with high-code systems such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba plus low-code systems such as OutSystems and Mulesoft is an advantage. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. You can translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams and work effectively across cultures and organizational levels. Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders and the development team, monitor delivery and results, and use data and feedback to improve Fleet solutions.

Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, project management, business analysis, or software development. Candidates should know Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and bring strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, OutSystems, and MuleSoft is an advantage.
