Job Description

As Project Manager within Fleet Excellence PMO, you lead strategic and tactical initiatives that improve how Boels manages equipment throughout its lifecycle—from planning and procurement to logistics, availability, maintenance, returns and disposal. You create structure, connect teams and keep each initiative aligned with Fleet priorities and Boels’ strategy. In your day-to-day work, you manage scope, planning, budgets, risks and dependencies. You coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of specialists, Product Owners, Change Managers, IT and other business stakeholders across Fleet. As the link between business and delivery teams, you create alignment, resolve challenges and support timely decisions. You ensure that project outcomes are implemented successfully and deliver lasting improvements across Boels. Your Responsibilities Lead strategic and tactical Fleet initiatives within agreed scope, timelines, governance standards and expected business outcomes. Define project scope, objectives, governance, roles and responsibilities. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, dependency overviews, risk assessments and mitigation actions. Track progress, benefits, risks, issues and dependencies. Provide clear reports, scenarios and recommendations to support timely decisions and escalation. Coordinate cross-functional teams and keep objectives, priorities, dependencies and expectations aligned throughout delivery. Build strong stakeholder relationships and resolve project challenges. Work with Change Management and operational teams to turn project deliverables into adopted and sustainable ways of working. What do we offer? This Is What You Bring A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field. A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMI or Lean Six Sigma is an advantage. At least five years of relevant experience in project management, programme delivery or business consultancy, preferably in a complex or international environment. Confident with ERP systems, project planning and reporting tools. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Jira, or similar platforms is an advantage. Proven ability to establish project structure, improve ways of working and deliver sustainable business outcomes. Knowledge of traditional and agile delivery methods, such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or SAFe. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. You create alignment across departments, explain complex topics clearly and remain confident when priorities or interests differ. A proactive and structured approach. You take ownership, manage competing priorities and stay focused on delivery when projects become complex. Heb je interesse? Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of relevant project management, program delivery, or business consultancy experience. Candidates should have strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, familiarity with ERP and planning tools, and knowledge of traditional and agile methods; project management certifications and SAP S/4HANA or Jira experience are advantages.
