Job Description As a Warehouse Associate based in Amsterdam (Lijnden), you will work on a part-time basis and play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong teamwork skills, and strict adherence to company procedures, as well as health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against delivery notes; Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report damaged or missing items to the supervisor; Update inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners; Pick and pack products accurately according to customer orders; Prepare shipments with correct labels and documentation; Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and prepare outgoing shipments for carriers; Keep storage areas clean and organized; Arrange products according to warehouse layout and procedures; Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if certified; Follow company health and safety policies; Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors. What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not always required. Forklift certification is beneficial but may not be required. Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices. Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners; Good communication skills; Physical ability to lift, carry, and move goods safely. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; previous warehouse experience and forklift certification are advantageous but not always required. Candidates should understand basic warehouse safety, have basic computer and barcode-scanner skills, communicate effectively, and be physically able to handle goods safely.
