Foundations of Your Job As an Engineer at TWD, you will be responsible for designing unique structural and mechanical installation tools for a wide range of on- and offshore construction projects. Your role involves translating client requests into functional designs and collaborating with other project members. A Glimpse Of Your Responsibilities Sketching ideas and verifying them with calculations (using free-body diagrams) Performing the technical set up and execution of detailed calculations and reports: Load case determination Hand calculations using Python (with our inhouse package PyTWD) 1D/2D FEM Keeping overview of the link between calculations and drawings Safeguarding the technical quality and timely delivery of project deliverables Managing your own project deliverables to meet the global project planning What Makes You Great As an Engineer at TWD, you are a passionate, quick learner and have strong technical insight. Core Responsibilities

Design structural and mechanical installation tools for onshore and offshore construction projects, translating client requests into functional designs in collaboration with project teams. Develop and document calculations, maintain alignment between calculations and drawings, and deliver technically sound project work on schedule.

Requirements

Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering. The role also calls for strong technical insight, communication and teamwork skills, a responsible and self-driven approach, and enthusiasm for problem-solving.
