Working closely with Legal Officers and reporting to the Supervisor Accounting, you will help clients maintain compliance, meet regulatory requirements, and achieve their business objectives in an increasingly complex global environment. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while providing high-quality accounting and administrative support. You will become part of a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to delivering tailored solutions and exceptional client service. Success in this role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, banks, auditors, tax advisors, notaries, regulators, and other stakeholders. Manage a portfolio of client entities and act as a primary contact for accounting and financial matters. Maintain accounting records, financial databases, and client administrations. Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare statutory financial statements and client-specific financial reports. Support cash management activities, including banking administration and payment processing. Coordinate reporting to regulatory authorities, tax authorities, and other external bodies. Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes. Identify and resolve accounting, administrative, and tax-related issues. Assist with tax-related filings, including corporate income tax, dividend tax, and VAT where applicable. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of company and client files. Monitor compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and internal policies. Review timesheets, fee arrangements, draft invoices, and debtor balances for assigned client entities. Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support business growth. Participate in client meetings and contribute to special projects and initiatives. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACA). Approximately 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or corporate services environments. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including Dutch GAAP and IFRS. Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous. Experience preparing financial statements and managing accounting processes for corporate clients. Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems such as SAP, CaseWare, Dynamics, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch language skills are highly desirable and would be considered a strong advantage. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Client-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management abilities. Interest in international business environments, financial markets, and corporate structures. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Core Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of client entities and maintain their accounting records, prepare financial statements and reports, support cash management, and coordinate tax, regulatory, and audit activities. Build client and stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance with applicable requirements, resolve accounting and administrative issues, and contribute to client meetings and business initiatives.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA, is required, along with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience. Candidates should have strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge, including Dutch GAAP and IFRS, experience with corporate client accounting and systems such as SAP, CaseWare, or Dynamics, and excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a strong advantage.
